Meet the Chef- Sean Edward Applewhite
Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Sean brings both classical technique and creative flair to the kitchen. His favorite dish to enjoy is pan-seared skate with blood orange beurre blanc, a reflection of his refined palate and love for bold flavors.
While his favorite food to cook changes often, he’s currently having fun perfecting cheesecake — a dessert that blends precision with indulgence.
Chef Sean’s favorite part of serving students at UCA is the opportunity to shape young palates:
“Of all the captive audiences to cook for, college is by far the best. We get a chance to influence people’s palates — that’s a rare thing. College-aged people are fun too.”
